well i dont really have anything special to say...but i guess i'll talk about my amazingly LOOOOONNGGGG DAY!
i had an early morning..waking up at 7.45 on a SUNDAY MORNING! grrr dont know why but i just woke up..and lay in bed until it was time to hop out. and then i got ready for the 6 hour chemistry lecture :)
we arrived at melbourne Uni at around half past 9. not knowing where to go..uyen's dad drove around the university..and omgggg its so big....but we found our way there :D
we were there quite early so we walked up and down the street looking for food shops because anita was only nibbling on the mandarin ...poor girl. we didnt end up finding anywhere. so we went back to the LAW building and saw tuyet and kathy :D
said our hello's and then headed straight to the lecture room. "signed in" whilst holding up the line because they didnt have change to give us =.=
they were planning to give uyen back her $1...LOL didnt end up happening because the guy with the money took forever to get there.
anyways so the lecture started...and it was sooooo boringgg. we basically went through the year 11 stuff and basic knowledge for year 12..i guess it was good as a reminder..uyen and i really wanted the lecturer to get into Spec stuff. but he only spent a few rushed minutes on it :( oh wells..anyways there was a 30min break every 2 hours or so. uyen and i were mainly mucking around with the marshmallows and of course i took notes and uyen began her 2009 chem exam :)
got through some work in the end. :D
the lecturer was very engaging and funny..hahaha shame that the students applauded to the past student who came to speak for us for the last 20minutes of the lecture. whereas the lecturer wasnt so much recognised for his 360minute lecture. oh wells. people did end up thanking him with smiles as they left the lecture. and he too gave us smiles :D and of course a whole heap of students gathered around the past student who got a 50 in chemistry last year. LOL
