some might ask, why on earth are there such different kinds of weather in one day...my answer to them...because it's Melbourne.
LOL well melbourne's been known for its 4 seasons in one day thing. so i guess that explains why (only partially though) around 8.30ish today, Lisa and i went to the city for the Classic Mothers Day run, as soon as we go the the venue, we dropped off our things at the Monash cloak room and headed off to the START line. despite arriving there with nearly an hour to spare, the line which equated to the speed of cars stuck in the traffic jam delayed the walkers starting time!!!
we ended up starting at around 10.40 and upon our arrival at the start line, we were cheered and supported by the Monash cheering squad!!!! it was so cute how they took time out to cheer for us :D i felt a little awkward seeing them (not that i know any of them) but yeah...it was weird. anywhooosss i completed the walk just under an hour and a half. it was a beautiful walk around the botanical gardens /alexander gardens. it was really good to see everyone coming together for this great cause :D
although im not a big fan of pink, the colours from the participants pink accessories really lit up the atmosphere :)

after the run we got our pink show bags with goodies, (sorry for the lack of photos hehe ill update it as soon as i can be bothered) and yeah...we then headed towards degraves, which was unfortunately packed!! so we then caught a tram down to Oriental Spoon. it was my first time there, and my aunty wanted to treat me to it seeing how my bday is sooon. the service there wasn't exceptional, but the waiters were good looking..*drooooolz* food was good as well! im definitely going back there soon. (once all my assignments are finished)

Lisa and i decided to buy mum a cake from breadtop seeing how we didn't do much for her. Luckily she liked it :) so it was good ^_^
when we got home, our aunties came for a visit, and she also gave me my birthday present! i absolutely love it! didn't really expect it tbh. but oiajdoisajdoijoijfdisojf i was reallly happy~
today was long but it was definitely a fabulous day. i was showered with love throughout the whole day!!!! to all the beautiful mothers out there...HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!! and as the MC said today...we need to say thanks to the step-mothers too! thank you!! but most important of all, THANK YOU MUMMM!! thanks for always being there for me, and thanks for always helping us out :) love you heaps!!! mwahhhh!
