so i'm finally back and updating my blog! it has been sooooooooo long! hope everyone's been well! so 2 weeks after coming back from my trip to China where i climbed the Great Wall, and ate a range of dishes and sweets that i'd never find in Melbourne, i went on a uni camp! (sorry for not uploading photos of my trip to china...but i really cant be bothered resizing my photos...oh oh! i also got a new camera!!! a dslr!!! weeeeeeee!)
ok back to my camp story...i am so glad to have joined the student ambassador group because there are a bunch of amazing people who also have similar goals to myself :) and most important of all, everyone was just so warm and welcoming!
this camp was run by a group called Purple Soup who develop leadership camps as well as providing an amazing experience of 'camp' to the less privileged kids in our community. They are an amazing group of people who seek to constantly improve the quality of the camp they give us. But most important of all, the Director of Purple Soup and the members of course...have such warm and big hearts. They truly are inspirational and i will always look up to them.
warm fuzzies, trust game, 80's disco, beach, high ropes course, and no teachers telling us when to sleep!!!
just a few terms i still have in my head which reminded me of camp hehehe
it was a camp that truly made us step out of our comfort zone and in life, we can never always be in the same situation. we came across many team building activities as well as having a deep reflection on the way we completed tasks. overall, it was another amazing camp i attended (oh did i mention that this camp was for free?? oh yeahhhhhhhh ;) )
okies photo time!
