still deciding

so sometimes i read about how people have first world problems...at the moment i think im having that too.

im deciding whether or not buy an ipad 2 or the 'new ipad 2' . i would probably use it as a toy and as my brother said...its one expensive toy im paying for. sister...bro..parents arent gonna pitch in so its just meeeee! it would be awesome to take it to uni and use it whenever im bored.. but honestly this defeats my goal of saving >_>
the ipads i was considering include... ipad 2 16gb for $400. then my cousin tells me to get the newer version since its an extra $100. so $500. after a few minutes i begin to think whether or not 16gb is enough for my videos and other apps/files. so i sit down and think...and decide on getting an ipad 2 32gbs. $500. and since i get another 5% discount it'll be $475. *sighhh* its cheap i know. but to think about using my one months work of pay to buy this toy...argghhh i need to think think and THINK!!!

is it something thats worth buying??? i see my friend using it and its FUN yet such a big distraction. i want it but *sniff sniff* anyways enough of my rant...i shall see if should get it in the end. mum is telling me its not worth spending nearly half a grand on (since im not making a lot of money at work) and plus....i HAVE LAPTOP! can pretty much do most of the stuff on there? :\
