hello blog, long time no speak, write and see!
hope everyone's been doing well now that uni is about to or has started for most! 2013 marks the final year of my tertiary studies and possibly opening a new chapter in my life...I GOT A BOYFRIEND!!!!!!! lol jks. no but i seriously do, he's in Korea. (duhhh) I've been told to grow up and to snap out of that phase but what is there to admire and drool upon when Kpop idols are continuously promoting themselves everywhere!!!
well anywhoos back to my original topic...2013! The year before i head off to work, and i don't even know where i want to work! Ever since my first year of university i've wanted to major in Finance but when im asked about what jobs i want to do...i have no idea. The only concept i have in mind about Finance is that like accounting (with less of the number work) it's a safe major to take if i wanted to find a good job. But up until now...im still completely clueless. Seems to me that i'll finish university with a degree and i don't think i'll be making great use of it. *sigh*
At the moment i really want to travel...i spoke to a friend from high school and what she wants to do is travel...so at the moment we have a little tiny plan that we'd get together at the end of this year AND TRAVEL!!! yippeee! hello travel buddy!!! Grandma keeps on saying that i should save up my money to buy a house or car or whatever instead of travelling but i think otherwise. Once i do start working i dont think i will have so much time to travel and to thoroughly enjoy it! i probably will but I WANT TO TRAVEL WHILST IM YOUNG! the countries we'd love to go to now are...china, singapore, malaysia, cambodia, laos, nepal, and the states! a bit of everything i guess and as you can see it's our little plan. i do hope it gets somewhere. WEOOEOEWWW!
Speaking of getting older...i met someone from work and as my mother said...you learn a lot from working! Dont be afraid! i certainly have because i've learnt to work together with people of different ages, throughout our schooling years we're always with the same age group (of course) with a teacher who'd be decades older than us! but at woolies, you'll get a range of people, younger, same age, and people who treat you on the same level but are actually older! Peter and i were casually talking about our studies so i thought he'd be the same age as me! but when he randomnly asked me to guess his age i was a bit confused. Thinking he'd be max 24/25, i was wrong! he was actually 28! and for me it's basically saying you're reaching your 30's! But we act like we're on the same level! This is the thing i realised about working, you'll find people who are younger than you but tend to enjoy bossing people around and here you have someone who is a bit older...a tad...(LOL) but treat you like you're one of them! These people are great! Love to work with them! :D makes life so much funner at work! Im yet to find out how old my other supervisor is because he is one of the coolest guy i've worked with! Its good to see how he tries to make a conversation with everyone, so our shifts will be much more enjoyable!
Uni is about to start girls! Apart from my irregular shifts at woolies, i've just organised a few catch ups with friends and family! It's been a while since i've seen most of you but i'm organising something for m bday so hopefully ILL SEE EVERYONE THERE!
Im also going to the avalon airshow this sunday which i am totally looking forward to! especially the performances!!! Ill probs post about it later like last time when i went! hope everyones been keeping cool! 8D
