It has become an extremely bad habit of mine to blog the day after and i get really confused with the dates as well! Doing this isn't as easy as i had thought! Maybe i should have just taken a photo a day instead..would have been much easier! However, Lisa hasn't been keeping her promises...so it must be hard as well.
Anywhoos, to start off the day my aunty gave me a wake up call to tell us that we will be grocery shopping! YAYERS! grocery shopping on a hot as day! But it WAS the coolest day to shop when the market has fresh items to offer. I shouldnt complain because i was driven there. hehe
After i got back, i had to quickly finish my speech, rehearse and then get ready. I unfortunately did not keep my promise of coming early to help prepare, but i actually got there at 7, which is the start time. But my friend didn't mind. To my surprise i actually knew a handful of guests there and i finally was able to put faces to names!!! Knowing that i knew some people in that crowd made me less nervous for the speech which i was dreading!!!! Trying to find funny moments of Annie was so difficult for Wendy and myself. However, the speeches were still a success because our awkwardness made the crowd laugh. YAYERS!
I really liked the crowd today, it feels like it has been a while since ive been to a 21st and i just love the atmosphere and the people! oh and how could i forget...that food was saahhhhh dericiousss!!! THANK YOU ANNIE!
I was feeling nervous every now and then so i didn't take my phone out for photos, there were plenty of slr and dslrs going around for them beauty shots anyways.
The highlight of the night for me were the speeches part! Not my speech of course but the first and last act! Both were performed by her church friends and it was just sooo cute! I can definitely tell why she loves her church group of friends so much. THey're like a little family...or more like her brothers and sisters! A BIG FAMILY ACTUALLY!
THe first act was performed by the boys who wrote their own tune, lyrics and performed it live in front of us all! It was so adorable! It reminded me of Crystal's 21st! The last act was a dance performance of a few kpop dances that they managed to piece together and once again...another adorable act which i could nto stop smiling at! So in between Wendy and myself gave our speeches.
Just before i left, i finally got a polaroid shot with her! Mind you her selfie skills are superb!
HAPPY 21ST ANNIE !!! I LOOK FORWARD TO THE MANY MEMORIES WE WILL HAVE AHEAD OF US! <3 p="">
