White NIGHT!!! Went out to the city to see what all the fuss was about last year about this white night. First of all..i hate crowded places and that was a bit of a drainer last night. However apart from that, the streets were filled with people and buskers! The atmosphere was pretty good but walking like sardines was horrible. Tuyet Anna and myself ventured off to max brenners after walking from flinders to MC. It was another mini catch up with them which was more enjoyable than the night itself..weird huh!
Once we did get to the buildings with lights and all, it was colorful and nice...i guess but that was basically it...i would say white night is overrated because atm...i dont think i would go again. Maybe its because ive seen way better when i was overseas in Asia so this white night wasn't that spectacular. But i guess for many melbournians who only see the boring melbourne city lights at night (which is minimal) these buildings which lit up last night would have been more captivating to their eyes.
