Had another skyping session with my parents AND uncle today! It was a tad awkward chatting to my uncle because its been a year since i have seen him but it was a short and sweet convo. He showed me his final product in which he prepares every year. The flowers blossomed earlier than expected. Best time would be around the CNY day! but oh wells it looks gorgeous nevertheless! 

Earlier on, the rents sent us a video of mother eating a fruit they purchased from taiwan. In the video she described nearly every aspect of the fruit and i must admit it was such a funny video for us to watch back in Melbourne!

Similarly, dad did something VERY similar today with the roasted chestnuts which we all have a lovely memory of. We had it freshly made during our shanghai trip and it was just irresistible! Dad must have found a similar/comparable flavour to that because he was super excited to show us! Size was significantly smaller but taste was just as sweet and colour was a lot darker than usual. He even ate it in front of me! I was salivating by just looking at it and i really enjoyed the time dad took out to show us their purchases! Recently he has been chatting to his friends...A LOT and i always complain about how he hardly gives us his attention. It was lovely how he did a silly moment like my mum. Not long until they come back! This is my first time being away from my parents for so long and gosh it feels weird! 

The moment that made me smile a lot was dad doing childlike things in front of his children <3 about="" div="" i="" it="" smile="" still="" thinking="">

It is going to be hot again this week for melbourne! Hope everyone remembers to keep hydrated and make sure you're enjoying time out in the sun and with your loved ones!
