Catch ups are so fun!!! I caught up with a friend i havent seen since last year and for the 4 hours we spent together...it still wasnt enough time for us to catch up on life. Her overseas trip and my problems and shiz back in melbourne.
We went back to giraffe cafe , the cute little tucked in lt lonsdale st in the cbd. It was so empty at first but once it hit 1pm the cafe was filled with a fair bit of businessman and young people who were also having a catch up with their friends. We ate the amazingggg baked rice that ive been craving for some time along with a choc mint frappe which i recommend you not to get. It taste so bad. I shouldnt be so daring next time...just stick to my usual drinks.
We also went to the little festival walkway thing near crown. Its a similar concept to what they do in china, called flower street. Its where people go and buy flowers and sometimes gifts for new year. I would say 1/3 of the stalls were selling general merchandise and the other 2/3 were selling food and providing some services like travel agent and selling apartments. It was a tad warm but it felt really relaxing just walking comfortably along the river. We both made a few plans for the year of the horse! I seriously hope it will go to plan because ive been wanting to go since foreverrrr!
Will be seeing her next week again so woooot! Looking forward to more catch ups before uni takes over again!
